What are the resources and opportunities within each tradition for expanding mutual understanding, trust, fraternity, justice, and reconciliation among all three? What are the challenges to doing so? And what lessons can be drawn from local (Northeast Pennsylvania) efforts at Abrahamic dialogue?

Speakers

Fr. Paolo Dall’Oglio, S.J. is the founder of Deir Mar Musa, a Catholic monastery in Syria dedicated to Christian-Muslim peace and understanding.

Rabbi Roger Lerner is the spiritual leader of Temple B’nai B’rith in Kingston, PA and president of the Wyoming Valley Council for Interfaith Dialogue.

Dr. Shalahudin Kafrawi is assistant professor of religion at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. He specializes in Qur’anic studies and Islamic Philosophy.
